Coviu's focus at the IMH Conference 2022 was on remote assessments offered through our partnership with Pearson📝💻🌟.
From the 5th to 7th of September 2022, Coviu was delighted to attend the 23rd International Mental Health Conference as a silver sponsor of Australia’s premiere event for mental health providers. With many of Coviu’s users identifying as mental health practitioners, the event provided an exceptional opportunity to mingle with over 300 mental health representatives from around Australia and abroad, bringing fresh insights into the future of mental health.
Coviu’s friendly team consisted of our customer success maestros, Kheminda and Keiran, who conversed with a wide range of industry leaders at our booth inside the Gold Coast Convention Centre. Coviu’s exhibition included a number of flyers, giveaways and an opportunity to win a Logitech Webcam, soon to be awarded to a deserving entrant!
The team showcased our latest features such as phone and group call capabilities and shone a spotlight on Coviu’s Apps Marketplace which hosts a suite of clinical features for mental health practitioners.
Our Enterprise Customer Service Manager, Keiran commented on his experience of the day, “My highlight of the day was realising how well known we already are in this space, even where practitioners aren’t necessarily aware of the name behind the product they are already using. We also identified some exciting partnership opportunities for Coviu through our discussions with leading experts, including from as far abroad as the United Arab Emirates.”
Our team were also humbled that many providers commented on the value they found with in-built clinical assessments purchased through Coviu’s virtual care platform. This included better integration and value-for-money when using Pearson applications through the Coviu platform.
In addition to our booth presence, Our Head of Clinical Research, Dr Annie Banbury presented on remote assessments in conjunction with Valorie O’Keefe, a Clinical Psychologist from Pearson Clinical.
Annie and Valorie’s presentation marks over a 7-year strong partnership between Coviu and Pearson, born out of a mutual goal to address the inadequacies of traditional corporate video software for the medical industry. The presentation entitled ‘Benefits and Challenges of Remote Cognitive Assessments’ highlighted the features, benefits and best practice solutions to common hurdles associated with assessments for virtual mental health clinics. Attendees were invited to delve deeper into a summary of recent research studies and Coviu's discovery interviews on the topic by downloading the newly released Pearson Case Study.
Coviu's team also enjoyed the variety of other presentations covering mental health topics for providers and walked away with new ideas and fresh information. IMH hosted a full spectrum of speakers from former Olympian, Libby Trickett, to CEO of Epilepsy Sparks, Torie Robinson, to Media Personality, Sam Frost.
