Coviu is excited to announce some exciting newly developed features! Our all-in-one virtual care engagement platform enables providers to deliver a superior, frictionless virtual care experience to improve clinical outcomes, capacity and workflow efficiency.



Customisable Forms

Now available on Coviu, Customisable Forms, allowing clinicians to create and use their own custom forms in-call to be completed by participants! The Customisable Forms App allows you to capture patient outcomes and track and report on patient progress.

Create custom fields to set up your forms which can be used for your consultation and downloaded as a PDF once complete.

This App gives clinicians the tools to create any custom forms they require including:

  • Gather important patient information by creating patient in-take forms or screening forms.

  • Create a telehealth consent form that participants can sign directly in a call.

  • Conduct a customised questionnaire, referral form, consultation form and more…the options are endless!

Form fields, content and layout options are drag-and-drop components that can be easily edited, updated and moved around the page by the clinician. Once complete, you can access the form straight from within your Coviu call. The clinician admin of the Coviu account will have full control with the ability to edit or change existing forms as they see fit. 

The Customisable Form App is available on the Essentials, Standard, Premium  Coviu plans, and has been installed on all of these accounts by default. This App is also available on Enterprise plans. To enable please contact your Enterprise Account Manager.

Telehealth Custom Forms




SMS Features

Coviu's new SMS features have arrived! You now can access SMS Appointment Reminders for hosts and guests for Scheduled Sessions and Customer Connect bookings. In addition, an SMS allocation has been set to cover SMS capabilities within your Coviu plan with an exciting SMS Usage Tracker to go along with it! 


SMS Appointment Reminders

  • Admin users have the ability to set configurable SMS Reminders for hosts and guests for Scheduled Sessions and Customer Connect bookings.

  • In the same way that SMS confirmations can be enabled for appointments, admin users can send appointment reminders via SMS provided that a mobile number is listed.

  • This feature has automatically been updated if you have Customer Connect and/or Scheduled Sessions installed on your account.

SMS Limits

  • Along with the added feature of SMS Appointment Reminders, there is a limit of SMS per user/month which covers all SMS capabilities within your plan. Learn more about your SMS allocation here.

  • The SMS allocation for your account will renew each month or year (depending on your plan type) on your billing date.

  • The SMS allocation is designed to cover your core messaging features dependant on your plan including invitations, waiting area alerts, appointment confirmations and reminders.

  • Users can send additional SMS once their allotment has been reached, however, you will be charged a rate for each additional SMS message sent.

SMS Usage Tracker

  • An In-App SMS Usage Tracker has been enabled so admin users can keep track of their SMS usage.

  • The SMS Usage Tracker is visible in your Coviu Dashboard as well as the Billing/Payment area.

  • SMS usage tracking and billing will begin on your account from your next billing period. Costs then incurred for additional SMS sent will be added to your next-due invoice.

Phone Telehealth

Now, you can use Coviu as a single platform for both video and phone consultations making clinic management easier for your practice. 

Reap the benefits of Coviu's Phone Telehealth feature including:

  • Reach patients who either don’t have access to or are resistant to using video telehealth.

  • Let your patients call you for appointments and allow your clinic staff to triage calls even if they have to be remote.

  • Privacy and security - no need to use your personal phone for business communications. 

  • Manage a call centre/hotline where multiple call centre operators can respond to incoming calls using the same line.

Phone Telehealth


Phone capabilities are only available on the Standard, Premium and Enterprise plans.

Prices start at $15/month/account on the Standard and Premium plans to enable phone calls and receive a dedicated number. Price is subject to change as we enhance and roll out new features.
