Analysing the efficacy of Telepractice Amongst the allied health professions, speech pathology is leading the way with studies about the efficacy of telehealth. This is really exciting, because speech pathologists are delivering services across a wide spectrum of demographics, clinical environments, and health providers — lessons learnt here are applicable to many other clinician services.

Like most online applications, we’d like to have full internationalisation available for our users. After all, Coviu is useful in any country!

One of the things we do very well here at Coviu is in-session functionality. By now, we have developed dozens of add-on features for in-session use and we are turning them on per team. Some of the add-ons available are:

HealthKit (www.healthkit.com), the leading Australian digital health platform for practitioners and patients today announces a technology partnership with Coviu (www.coviu.com), a CSIRO Data61 startup, to integrate its browser-based telehealth platform, giving video consultation capability to HealthKit’s 15,000 Australian health practitioners.

Coviu has had iOS, Android and Desktop applications for several months now. We’ve been building all of these from the same codebase, making it possible for us to support this many platforms with a really small number of developers.

As Coviu’s core goal is to enable the delivery of human services over a distance, our users have quite naturally asked for ways of charging their customers.

A powerful audio-video platform developed by Coviu has the potential to raise the standard in the delivery of medical services internationally.
