Coviu Global Awarded Aus Medical Research Future Fund Grant

We are thrilled to announce that Coviu has been awarded a Medical Research Future Fund Grant to develop, test and integrate a suite of digital tools to support transforming wound care through telehealth in aged care.

Wound care is such a big challenge in aged care, particularly accessing timely specialist wound care advice. For equitable access to quality care by patients, we need to support these expert nurses and specialists with the best tools in telehealth so they can cover more ground.

Annie Banbury PhD, Clinical Research Lead at Coviu says, "We have an enormous opportunity to make a difference to the health and quality of life to older people living in aged care".

We are excited to address such a big challenge together with our collaborators from Australian Unity, Western NSW Primary Health Network, University of Sydney, University of Technology Sydney and CSIRO over the next 5 years.

We'd like to thank all the team members for their work and contributions to applying for the MRFF grant - Silvia Pfeiffer, Annie Banbury PhD, Georgina LuscombeOlivier SalvadoDavid AhmedtLars PeterssonMichele PittTim ShawMichelle Barakat-JohnsonMeredith MakehamA/Prof Ruth Webster and Luke Greive.
