Coviu Wins at the Australian Technologies Competition 2021!

We are thrilled to announce that Coviu has been awarded the winners in the Australian Technologies Competition in the MedTech and Pharma category! In addition, Coviu was also awarded the overall winner of the night as 'Australian Technology Company of the Year'!

The Australian Technologies Competition is Australia's national Competition, growth and partnerships program designed to identify and accelerate homegrown scale-ups with global potential.

In the first weeks of COVID-19, Coviu grew from 400 to 25,000 consultations a day and grew from 7 staff members before COVID-19 to 42 staff members during COVID-19. Now, thanks to our users, Coviu has reached 5 million consultations with more than 65,000 health practitioners using Coviu in their practices. We are so grateful to the clinicians that have picked up telehealth that have made this possible! 

Out of the 11 winners of the night, five are led by female founders (including Coviu), highlighting the growing representation of women in deeptech. 

We couldn't be more thrilled to be awarded as the winners in the MedTech and Pharma category, as well as the Australian Technology Company of the Year.
