Telehealth that starts on time

Your patients join from their browser with nothing to install, and you can see who's arrived, who's waiting and who's running late – with their paperwork already done.

Purpose-built, not repurposed

Coviu is built for healthcare – easy for your patients, secure and efficient for your practice. The difference shows up in small places: what your patient has to do to join, and what's in front of you once the consult starts.

Nothing to install

Your patients join from their browser. No app, no download, no password.

One link, all the way through

A single SMS link directs patients to their forms before the appointment, and the button to join when it's time.

Built for health data

ISO 27001 certified, and handled in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

See who’s turned up, as it happens

See who's arrived, who's in session and who's running late – so you can keep the day on track without asking anyone.

Everything about them, on the one screen

Their completed forms are right there in the consult. Less time juggling tabs, more time looking at your patient.

Patients join with everything already done

Consent, forms and details are collected before the appointment, not in the first five minutes of it – so you can focus on care.

Telehealth FAQs

What is telehealth software?

Telehealth software allows healthcare providers to deliver consultations via video. Coviu is built for healthcare specifically – secure video calls, the tools clinicians need during the consult, and the admin around it handled.

Which practice management systems do you integrate with?

Gentu, MediRecords, Halaxy, Nookal and Cliniko are supported today, with completed answers written back into the patient record. How much writes back varies a little by system, and we’ll show you exactly what yours does. We’re adding more systems based on what practices in the program are running, so tell us yours when you sign up.

Do patients need to download anything?

No. Your patients join straight from their browser – nothing to download, no login, no password.

Is it secure?

Yes. Coviu is an ISO 27001 certified company and compliant with the Australian Privacy Principles (APP).

How does the patient join?

Based on the workflows you have set up, the patient will receive a link via SMS that directs them to access or complete any required forms or files for their appointment. When the appointment is telehealth, a button to join the video call appears on that same page shortly before the appointment. The call opens in their browser, meaning patients don’t need to worry about downloads, logins or apps.

Can we use it for some appointments and not others?

Yes. Telehealth is a setting on each appointment type, not a different workflow. Leave it off and everything runs exactly as it does for an in-person appointment, so in-person and video bookings sit side by side.

How is patient data handled?

Coviu is ISO 27001 certified. Patient form responses, appointment details, and practice information are stored in Australia and handled in line with the Australian Privacy Principles. We do not sell it, share it for advertising, or use it to train artificial intelligence models. For more detail, see how Coviu handles your data.
